Burns Supper
Sunday Session

Join us as we celebrate the life and poetry of the legendary Robbie Burns at our very first Burns Supper. With it being the middle of summer here, we’ve adapted things to suit the Kiwi climate, turning the day into a relaxed Scottish-style Sunday Session.

This may be one of the most casual Burns Suppers you’ll ever attend, but we’ll still be honouring tradition - just with a bit more sunshine, great music and plenty of fun.

This is an all-day event with free entry. Doors open at 11am, with free entry. Haggis, neeps and tatties will be served from 1pm and wash it down with an Irn Bru. Enjoy the sound of bagpipes from the Scottish Society Pipe Band, followed by sing-along live music from 3pm. Naturally, there’ll be some of Burns’ poetry too, with the Ode to the Haggis performed around 4pm.

Keep an eye on this event page for more details, spread the word to your Scottish friends, and join us for a great day on the 25th of January.
